From Badia to La Crusc

The air is cool and clear, the larch trees are golden and every breath feels like a welcome pause. On the circular trail from Badia to La Crusc, you hike through the tranquil beauty of the Armentara meadows with only the rustling of leaves and the soft ringing of cowbells to keep you company.
The path leads you to the Santa Croce church, majestically situated at the foot of the Sasso di Santa Croce mountain. Once at the top, you'll appreciate the vastness – your view sweeps over the Marmolada, Sella, Puez, Odle group and Putia all the way to the glaciers at the main Alpine ridge. Look forward to a beautiful autumn day in the Dolomites, which you‘ll remember for a long time to come. This circular hike starts directly from Badia – either on foot along trail no. 7 or by taking the chairlift – and leads you up to the Santa Croce sanctuary (2,045 m). Just above the little church, you then follow trail no. 15, which takes you down through the enchanting Armentara meadows, between pastures and small woods. An autumn hike in one of the most magical settings of the Dolomites – starting right at La Müda.
