One of the most beautiful via ferratas in the Dolomites
Cima Dieci summit tour

Take the Santa Croce cable car from outside La Müda up towards the Armentara meadows and Santa Croce church – alternatively, walk along the Armentara circular trail at an altitude of 2,045 metres. There, you need to fasten your harness.
The trail takes you through Swiss stone pine forests before reaching the start of the secured climb up to the Sasso di Santa Croce - this requires your full concentration. It‘s narrow and airy, but doable. Once at the top, a wild yet impressive rocky landscape comes into view. Only experienced climbers are able to continue to the Cima Dieci (3,026 m) – the last exposed climbing section requires sure-footedness and a head for heights, but rewards you with a breathtaking 360° panoramic view encompassing the Marmolata, Cristallo, Tofane and Großglockner. The descent is via the same route.
Start: La Müda, Santa Croce lift I Destination: Cima Dieci I Duration: approx. 7 - 8 hours I Difficulty level: challenging I Via ferrata kit mandatory
